The 48th Colloquium on Perception and the International Five-Sense Symposium

Date: From Friday, 6 March 2015 to Sunday, 8 March 2015.
Venue: Kanpo-no-yado Hita, 685-6, Nakanosima-cho, Hita, Oita, 877-0074 Japan. It takes about one and a half hours from Fukuoka to Hita by train.

The Organizing Committee of the 48th Colloquium on Perception: Kazuo UEDA (Chair), Yoshitaka NAKAJIMA, Hiroyuki ITO, Ken-ichi SAWAI, and Takeharu SENO.

Cosponsored by the Organizing Committee of the 48th Colloquium on Perception, Research Center for Applied Perceptual Science (ReCAPS), Kyushu University, Research and Development Center for Taste and Odor Sensing (TAOS), Kyushu University, and the Kyushu Chapter of the Acoustical Society of Japan.

On the second day, 7 March 2015, the International Five-Sense Symposium will be held as a part of the Colloquium.

International Five-Sense Symposium

Symposium Organizers: Yoshitaka NAKAJIMA and Kiyoshi TOKO

The symposium will consist of two keynote presentations ("What abnormal perception tells us about normal perception," by Stuart ANSTIS, University of California, San Diego, and "Biochemical sensors for senses of taste and smell" by Kiyoshi TOKO, Kyushu University), several invited reviews, and some contributed papers.
